Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, PC has unveiled a new line of fashionable tote bags for their patients. Like our pint-sized model displaying the new tote, we believe it’s the little things that go a long way when dealing with breast cancer and breast reconstruction.
This weekend, I walked 45 miles over 2 days for breast cancer in the AVON 39 San Francisco Walk. I started the journey by holding close to me the incredible women with whom I have the privilege of working with the words “Sisterhood of Support” on my back. This, my eighth trek, was in honor of all of YOU.
As part of the Patient Empowerment Program, our patients are given a packet of referrals to retreats, services and exercise programs to support them and their families. One such program is Camp Kesem Stony Brook which provides children affected by a parent’s cancer the opportunity to just be kids. One of our patients shared her thoughts about her child's experience.
